Sixth Form Application Process

Now open for applications – September 2026

Thank you for considering Wren Six as you embark on this next, exciting phase of your educational journey. Late applications are still being accepted for entry to The Wren’s Sixth Form (Wren Six) this September. 

For September 2026 Year 12 applications, please apply through Applicaa, which can be accessed here. Any student seeking a place in one of our current cohorts should email [email protected] to enquire. 

We offer a wide range of courses both A Levels and BTEC. Further details of which can be found on the Wren Six Curriculum page.

Wren Six Entry Requirements

Applications will be considered in line with meeting the below criteria:

Pre-offer

  1. Application form submitted.
  2. Wren Six Applicant conversation with Wren Six Leadership team completed, and subject choices determined.

Conditional (provisional) offer made, based upon:

  1. Achieving a good pass (Grade 4 or better) in English and Maths. If you have not achieved a grade 4 or better in English and Maths, or are not predicted to do so, explore our Resit Pathway.
  2. Meeting individual subject entry requirement.

Please note that all provisional applicants must meet the criteria outlined in our Sixth Form Admissions Policy.

Where Wren Six is oversubscribed, successful applicants will be determined by:

  1. Meeting Wren Six Subject Entry requirements, including the following prioritisation:
    • Students who have achieved a good pass (Grade 4 or better) in both English and Maths without the need to resit will be prioritised, subject entry requirements apply.
    • Students who have achieved a good pass (Grade 4 or better) in English or Maths (with the need to resit one of English or Maths) will receive second priority, subject entry requirements apply.
    • Students who have not achieved a good pass (Grade 4 or better) in English and Maths will receive third priority, subject entry requirements apply.
  1. The Admissions Policy outlines prioritisation in the instance of oversubscription based upon the following:
    • Looked After Children.
    • The Founders of The Wren School.
    • Students of Excalibur employees.
    • All other applications, including siblings.
